Hi, I’m Abdelhak, a Data Engineer in the banking sector and someone who is curious about how money, banking, and payments are slowly changing in Morocco.

In Morocco, most people still prefer cash. We use cash in cafés, taxis, small shops, markets, and many daily transactions. Digital payments exist, but they are not yet a natural habit for everyone.

At the same time, things are moving. We are seeing more mobile wallets, banking apps, online payments, instant transfers, and fintech startups trying to make financial services easier and more accessible.

That’s why I created Morocco Fintech Guide.

The goal is simple: explain fintech in Morocco in a clear, practical, and honest way.

Here, I will share:

  • Simple tutorials about fintech apps and digital payment tools
  • Reviews of Moroccan fintech applications
  • News about the fintech ecosystem in Morocco
  • Easy explanations about banking, payments, and financial innovation

This blog is for people who want to understand what is really happening in Moroccan fintech — not only the hype, but also the challenges: cash habits, trust, access, fees, user experience, and regulation.

My goal is to make fintech easier to understand, easier to test, and easier to follow.

Welcome to Morocco Fintech Guide.
Let’s explore the future of finance in Morocco, step by step.
